"Its easy to forget just how many cracking seven inches Moshi Moshi have put out over the past two years. At least it was until they put them all on this compilation boating not one, not two, but three NME tracks of the week: Late Of The Pier's genre defying 'Bathroom Gurgle', Friendly Fires' anthemic 'Paris' and Team Waterpolo's Abba-(r)aping hit 'Letting Go'. The quality doesn't drop, either; from LYkke Li's sultry scandi-pop and Elle S'Appelle's sugar-rush synths to acoustic led loveliness from The Wave Pictures and Slow Club, (almost) every track here stands up on its own merit. In fact if it wasn't for Kate Nash's abysmal 'Caroline's A Victim', this collection of superlative sevens would be worth a 10.
