Here's a teaser, go visit The Big Distraction for the rest.

........
Roller derby is enjoying quite the revival across the nation and Drew Barrymore's directorial debut, Whip It, is going to be a big step in bringing Roller Derby into the spotlight. With a cast including the likes of Ellen Page, Marcia Gay Harden, Juliette Lewis, Eve, Daniel Stern and Zoe Bell, Whip It brings a great mixture of comedy and drama that will be sure to entertain. I walked out with a smile on my face and can you really ask for more than that?

Great Review Mitch! I was actually in town when they were shooting this and remember people talking about it when I worked at a movie theater there. I'll make sure to look out for you (or your car rather) when I see it. Hows Ellen Page? I like her, but I am a little concerned with her getting out of her Juno shell of playing variations of the same character. This looks like a ton of fun and I am really looking forward to seeing it.

I read the book that the film was based on and it seemed to me like it was going to be Juno on wheels, but it's not like that. Sure Ellen is playing a young girl, but c'mon, look at her, lol.

Oh, and my car is 2007 Saturn view, you can see it for half a second when Kristen Wiig drops Eleen off at school.

The trailer makes it look routine, but it sounds like that isn't really the case. Now I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the review!
