Fiona Talkington played Snow Dove (from the album Bridges) on her late Junction programme last night which has put a smile on my face all day because Late Junction is such a fantastic radio programme, it always contains an awe inspiring selection of music and champions some of the most interesting and innovative musicians who may not usually get airplay on main stream radio. So I am thrilled and very humbled to be included.
Calum, Ian and I are off to Maida Vale studios this weekend to record two live tracks for Howard Goodall's Christmas programme...details to come on when that will be aired on radio 2.
For those of you who heard the programme, there is a slight mistake down to a misprint in the album sleeve Snow dove is trad, arranged by Katie Doherty, Ian Stephenson, Calum Stewart and Martin Douglas and not as Fiona said; Kathryn Tickell. Kathryn did arrange the following track on the album, Port and Brandy rather beautifully. Apoligies!
