Get Busy Committee (aka GBC) is a hip hop group consisting of underground legend Apathy,Styles of Beyond's Ryu, and super-producer Scoop DeVille (the son of Latino Rap pioneer Kid Frost). Get Busy Committee was formed in Los Angeles California by long time friends Ryu, Apathy and Scoop DeVille. They were aiming for an sound that rap has not heard in year or even at all.
They claim their influences for the project come from
Eazy E, BBD (
Bell Biv DeVoe), BDP (
Boogie Down Productions). All production is done by Scoop DeVille and Apathy. While vocals are given by everyone in the group. Their debut album, Uzi Does It, will be released for pre-sale album download on October 27th at
www.getbusycommittee.com and available on iTunes Amazon & also other outlets on November 10th. The album is 100% self-funded and self-released independent record. They also plan to release a Uzi-Shaped USB. They have Released 6 songs already. There first single being Chillin Out Maxin.
