So we played Nanci Raygun on Saturday night...
Prabir opened with an acoustic set, and his friend Erin sang with him. He's such a great song writer and their voices were so beautiful together. It really was quite awesome. Acoustic sets can be so mediocre, if not boring, but Prabir can pull it off quite well.
We played next and we had so many friends out it made us feel really good before we got started. Thanks so much!! We made some adjustments to our amp volumes, learning from our last Nanci Raygun experience a couple weeks ago and it sounded really good this time! We played the longest set we've played as a band (7 songs at about 30 minutes) including one completely new one which went over very well. Everything felt really great!
I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness played last and they were really pretty. Kind of like Interpol with some Cure in there, maybe some Appleseed Cast and other stuff, whatever. Anyway we enjoyed it! We met some of them and they were nice dudes; good luck to them!
