This past Sunday we had the opportunity to serve at an amazing ministry in Philadelphia called Chosen 300. On Sunday mornings they bring people in for a worship service, and then feed them breakfast. These are people that may not have homes, and they may have no idea where their next meal is going to come from, but Chosen 300 ministries is committed to showing them the love of Christ by meeting their physical and spiritual needs. In addition to helping cook and serve the food, we had the opportunity to do a few dramas during the service and pray with those who came. It is always humbling to be able to serve those who are less privileged than yourself, and it makes you grateful for what God has given you. It was also incredibly uplifting to see their faith and their hunger for more of God. While Chosen 300 does meet the physical needs of the people it serves, it is a ministry that is focused on meeting their spiritual needs. It was truly a blessing to be a part of such an amazing ministry.
