Well, firstly i must appologise as its been to long since my last blog entry and so much has happened which is worth talking about so here goes!

On June 3rd Sketch City attended the Burnt to the ground festival in Manchester, here we had something like 14 artists painting live throughout the day on the entrance to the old underground toilets in Manchesters Northern Quarter. The day was a total success and best of all the work is on permanant display in the city centre and has totally transformed the area its in. (i promise i will post pics asap)

2nd: Sketch City went to glastonbury and got very muddy indeed!
we had a small sketch city area in the muddiest field in the world, and had 5 days of insanity and art. the area was part of a large Climate change tent so all the work was themed to climate change, best of all we have been invited to Liverpools Hub festival in July to continue the work further.

3rd: Sketch city artist Barney francis is due to start work on his 3rd commision for bar chain revolution thanks to Sketch city. This time it is in our home town of Manchester and B will be revamping the stairwell of the deansgate locks revolution so get down there in July to peep his steez!

this sunday Sketch city will be blitzing the Bury street festival with interactive art galore plus showcase pieces from 30DZ & INKA.

on 7/7/07 we will be doing the Darnhill festival where ourselves and mind on fire wil be co-running a stage featuring a whole host of up and coming talent as well as more art demo's. That same night Ryan Hunn and Myself will be buzzing down to liverpool to play some tunes in the Magnet so if your in the area, bob down for a boogie.

At the end of July we will be involved in the New Islington festival, details are vague at the moment but i will update as news comes in.

DPercussion 07 has been set in stone for the 04th of August. This is gonna be the biggest to date and we have a new and improved area. for any1 who made it last year expect a bigger and better area!!! OOH EXCITING


Finally Sketch city have been invited to Marseille for the Marsatac festival in September.
Myself plus 3 artists are being flown over to show the french how sketch city rocks it over here in MCR.

Oh and im pleased to announce that i have been nominated for an arts council arts 07 award for my work with Sketch cIty, its great because i get to go to an awards doo and wear a suit and get pissed on free booze.
Its quite an honor and im pretty hyped about it, its good to start getting abit of recognition for the work i have put in over the last few years.
