Afternoon,
August already! This month will see my band and I perform live at The Moor Music Festival. Our gig here has been hotly tipped and picked out by the Big Issue as one of this years festival highlights! We'll be hitting the stage around 7pm on Friday 7th.
Straight after I'll be rushing over to Big Chill to play a DJ set on Saturday afternoon then will be kicking around for the weekend to take in the rest of the fest.
Following this I'll be hitting the studio late August to spend a month recording my album. The songs are all demoed and the studio time is booked, I'll be blogging updates from the sessions at www.myspace.com/jamiefinlay and the entire recording will be documented by Manchester's Soup Collective. Expect brand new tracks appearing mid September and we'll be back on the live circuit in September/October.
