Last week I was inspired.  A certain someone got it in my head to volunteer as a Big Brother...I've been mulling it over and reading up on the program and I am 99% going to do it.  There is a pretty extensive background check, a home visit and interview, but none of that should be a problem.  I would hope that if I can pass the psych evaluations, interviews and polygraph for STLCO then this will be a cake walk.

My understanding is I get paired with a kid that is basically in need of some positive influence, and spend time with him a few times a month.  I think this will be good for me though...probably as good for me (If not better) than for the kid.

Once again, I need some volunteers for references!  I need a few of you that have known me for a while to pretend to like me enough to say some nice things about me.  Shoot me some basic info please, updated addresses and so on.
