Let me tell you a story, from back in the day.
A story of a boy, trying to find his way.
Hes trying to find himself, hes trying to find his place.
Hes trying to do whats right, hes tired of making mistakes.
When he was young it was okay.
He played on the basketball team.
I'll tell you this boy he had game,
And the NBA was his dream.
He started smokin the green,
As soon as middle school came.
Put down the ball and became,
a new man switched his game.
Picked up a pen and his brain,
down on the paper it drained.
With the wrong crowd he would hang,
at least thats what they'd all say.....
