Hey,
If you get the chance follow the link below. It will tell more or less where I sit politically. The article is by John Hawkins, a personal hero of mine. And I have to agree with almost every point he makes.

The two exceptions.... The * about out of every hundred new ideas 99 or so yadda yadda yadda
I agree with the spirit of what he says here, but it is an old, overused quote, that may be a little overzealous
The other exception, is the point about abortion. If I was choosing sides, I would definately consider myself pro-life. However the issue is not as cut and dry as he makes it out o be. Regardless of which side of the issue you are on, there is a lot of greay area, and there are a lot ostances to be taken that lie somewhere between
"Life begins at inception....." and "Abortion should be available to any woman under any circumstance"
And I think all the stances, at both extremes, and everywhere in the middle hold some merit.
Just to be clear however, I do absolutely lose it when some neo-hippie b*tch who has had a half dozen abortion looks at me cross-eyed because I have the gull to set a moustrap, or admit that I am in favor of further commercial and residential development in a given area, for economic benefit, regardless of how it effects the habitat of the new zealend blue loried monarch butterfly.
