I thought it might be worth saying a few words about our band... how we started, where we're at, what we want to achieve and so on.

Me and Justin began writing music together in a band which took inspiration from the chaotic end of US hardcore (think Cave In, Converge, Botch etc). This band broke up, mainly because we had unrealistic musical aspirations and we all agreed that it just wasn't much fun anymore. Me and Justin carried on writing music together. We both felt a kind of release. Freed from the yoke of "heaviness" we quickly almost effortlessly recorded a demo on a 4-track. Justin programmed the drums and wrote the bass lines and from their inception we decided that these songs would have no vocals. Through a friend I met a drummer who liked what he heard and we began practicing together. After a few more months we found a bassist, Pete, through an advert in Selectadisc. He liked The Van Pelt and Unwed Sailor and Joan of Arc and he could slap the bass real good.

From here on we went entered drummer hell... Pete stayed but drummers came and went over a space of about 2 years. We were close to giving up...  but just in time we met Adrian, an upstanding multi-instrumentalist from Cambridge who brought enthusiasm and an imposing arsenal of bells. We played our first show after about 3 months and that just about takes us up to the present.

Right now we're playing the odd London date and trying to record some of our songs for a 7inch. In the near future we want to play lots more shows wherever and whenever we can and hopefully support some bands we like, any in our top eight would be nice!
