Vinny's Bar is just some dive on South Union, but they've got a decent stage and a rad bartender, so we play there sometimes. Did at least, up to and including Saturday night, which proved our Vinny's Bar swan song. Because of Jimmy we're banned from playing there now. He says it's a hilarious story. It's sounds like he was just being an asshole. Either way, the guy from Vinny's is calling all of us assholes. Which we probably are. And he's advertising on the Vinny's website not to book us. He also says we don't have talent. Or a following. And that we're a children [sic]. So I guess fuck Vinny's. Sorry to have to say it, but fuck them. They don't know us. We're Sioux mother City fuckin' Sarsaparilla. We're fucking dangerous.

I totally agree! It is one thing to call the owner of the bar a fag, douch bag and a fuck face, but to insult jacque for actually taking the time to book jimmy knowing how arragant, annoying, and egotistical he is, is amazing! fuck the flowers send nice gifts, cause anything less than a honest appology to all involved, will result in even harder discrace from the whole music community in bakersfield. i guess jimmy didnt realize how many people know and love jacque and vinnys bar. AND ALL OF US ARE SERIOUSLY FUCKING DANGEROUS.

What's up guys. So I heard about a blog written on here about this night... thought I'd come check it out. I will agree on one thing.. this whole thing has created quite the laugh even to us at the bar. Dude, we were laughing that night after Jimmy peeled off in his truck. However, regardless of any humor found in it, Jimmy- you were rude and dissrepectful. This really bothered me because I strive to be respectful and supportive of all my bands, especially local. I love music, all kinds and I believe whether I like the band or not, everyone has the right to be heard. The first time I saw your band in January, I didn't like it. At all.  But I wasn't rude about it, in fact, I allowed you to return. Not to be a bitch but, you guys didn't have even 1 person pay to come and see you. You had 3 guests and that was it. It was late, I notioned to Jimmy "last song" he ignored me and proceeded to do a song of just laughing and whistling. He continued to ignore my time warnings. This seriously pist me off.  Then I had to ask him many times to please remove the band gear off stage so I could pack up our sound. Still ignored me. Until he got fed up with me bugging him... then he gets all pissy and starts calling everyone at Vinny's fowl names. Even if you thought you were being funny, it was still wrong. Regardless of if I like a band or think they are good or not, I am always cool to all of them. Thanking them for coming etc.. but if you dissrespect me or my home... FUCK YOU! Especially if you sucked and I was just being nice...

And those are my thoughts...

Get over it all ready.  That night was a black hole wrapped inside of a question mark. 4 paying people came to that show for us. 4 or 8 that come to your bar at any given time.  that was a friday night, and you didn't even have regulars there.  There is a way to spell check your postings.  Regardless, I thought the whole thing was a good time.

I didn't ignore your last song request, and the whistling was more "rock & roll" than anything I've heard go in through that bar.

Forgive me for not playing to the crowd or to your expectations, but the world is filled with different people and you, miss, are a genius at marketing.  Thank YOU for giving our site a shit load of hits by linking us on yours.

Vinny was my target, and it was fun.  I hope he got a good laugh out of it, and I hope we can still be friends.  love you jacque
