this music no longer available

Just finished editing an old track for your entertainment, "Star Trek on 45" was done back in the early 80's, when there was a series of disco remixes called "Stars on 45", and the classic Star Trek episodes were re-shown endlessly.
This was from before the days of sampling, so all the vocal performances were tracked in from a cassette deck. Kirk, Spock & Scotty are on fine form, and it's not hard to guess which episodes are involved, although I only picked dialog based on it's sonic appeal and rhythmic integrity.
I recorded all instruments onto an old TEAC 4-Track, including a home built synthesiser and the cheapest drum machine in the world. Recently I transfered the 4 track master to hard disk for editing and mixing, although all the sounds heard are unaltered from their original low budget glory.

Sun Moon Star

Love the tune and the "old-school" techniques for recording it; synergetically, I am excited by the piece because tonight I am going to the theater for a screening of the Re-Mastered 2 part episode "The Menagerie" with my 12 year old son... classic trek in surround-sound on the big screen!!! Woo hoo!

OK, this track is now removed to make way for more looping stuff, which I feel is somehow more promotional.
I'll make it available somehow if there's a demand...(=just ask)
