Check out Vera's book Poisoned Heart: I Married Dee Dee Ramone (The Ramones Years).
Vera tells her story, it's a last testament to Dee Dee and she lays it all out. The book has several pictures of me which make it a must buy ... LOL! Vera had a book party at The Bowery Electric June 7th a great new club right by the Joey Ramone Street sign at Bowery and 2nd street a block away from the former CBGB's. The Bowery Electric is a great new club run by Jesse Malin and Johnny T.

Nice pic, great book.  No Melnicks would have meant no Ramones for sure!!!! Glad they had a Melnick to guide them along rock's highways and byways all those years.  Vera's book is outstanding and a "must read" for anybody who loved the Ramones, their music, and their outlooks.
