Tour Blog- day one 3/14 Pittsburgh

5:55 pm Just got into the place we're staying tonight,  gonna have to leave again for load in soonish. Everyone sleeping in the same room, a dance studio. it's cold, and i keep asking if i can look at porn in the bedroom or drink the people's beer. i hope pascal knows i'm kidding...
left early this morning, around 7ish. got home reeeeally late last night, after playing the 92 St Y in Tribeca at midnight. the ride out was alright... nothing much to report everyone's pretty low key after last nights festivities.
Nuffa that. more later. think indian food is on the way....
1:30 am Cindy is a DJ here in Pittsburgh. She saw and befriended Dawn Landes and Balthrop last summer when we toured through here. We met up with her for dinner and she invited us to her friend's bday party after the show... we played, the stage was rickety, but we were good. strange last minute switcheroos, i ended up playing guitar on explode. i think it sounded okay. i'm paranoid it was too much or too little.
rest of the show was good. lots of people dancing and having fun... went to that bday party after, met some cool people. drank some homemade ginger honey wine. ended up taking the (more) private bedroom, feel lucky.
more tomorrow. were off to lexington...
