This year, I aquired allergies. I have random violent sneezing attacks and my eyes itch. Ever have your eyes itch? A lot? It BLOWS. I can't go inside a house with a cat. I can't breathe anymore. Ths is probably the stupidest thing that ever happened to me.

cool! I'm not the only loser...haha... i'm semi-allergic to my cat dhalyla... and she hardly sheds... i have to lint roll my pillows or else... itchy, burning, dry eyes are all i have and visine is like bleach on my corneas... =) well you know what they say... no rest for the wicked!!! hehehe, we must be super-evil!!! I didn't even think to associate breathing problems w/allergies... that would explain the increased asthma attacks... wowie, i learned something new!!!

Neither one of you are loosers.  I had those exact allergies since I was a kid.  They got so bad that my eyes would swell shut!  Alergies can come or go any time in your life.  I am fortunate that mine have somewhat subsided.

What made life tolerable for me was seeing the best Allergy doctor I could find.  They tested me for the 16 most common spring allergies and I had a reaction to all and grassweed overran the four on each side.

They are listed under "Physicians and Surgeons, MD&DO-Allergy & Immunology" in the Yellow Pages.  Please let me know if this helps.

Oh my gawd do i know what you mean Abbs: 2 good friends both got cats this year (not 1, or 2, but they both have 3!!) It's only the long-haired ones, so its a crap shoot for me. But yeah, I do know what it feels like to have your eyes itch, it sucks! It feels like your eyelashes keep falling into your eyeballs or like someone pulled the skin out just underneath so they could throw dust in them!! And dont get me started about the stuffy-on-one-side-and-then-switch-to-the-other dance that goes on in my nose. Yeah allergies are fun.
