Hey everyone,

I thought I'd share with you some pictures and video from when I sang the National Anthem at Shea Stadium for the New York Mets. Singing the anthem for the Mets has been a life-long dream, and to do it in Shea's final season made the day even more special.

We even got to check out batting practice from the field, and for the second time in my life I was star-struck, when Jose Reyes walked 2 feet in front of me and I froze (the first one was when I saw Jordan Knight from NKOTB-- but don't tell anyone I said that).

As a die hard Red Sox fan I applaud the Mets for a first-class decision to have the MVP singer of 2008 perform in their park! Way to go Amanda :)

You were awesome that night. That was the only game I went to this year, and I was so fortunate to catch your performance. Your pictures are alot better then the ones I took from the mezzanine. Hope to catch you in a concert soon.

And now appearing? Amanda, yesterday when I went grocery shopping I saw a young lady who reminded me of you and I mentioned it to her ~ a complete stranger, lol. She hadn't heard of you though. God bless!
