Hello Friends.

I need to do a better job at the blog thing. That's on my list of things to do better in the future. Until then... I'm enjoying the world of Twitter at the moment. Follow me and you'll get more random updates than you could ever imagine: twitter.com/timwildsmith ...

So... Summer officially started today. I'm excited about the what the next couple of months will bring.

First. I'm going to Africa.
On July 3rd I'm heading to Cape Town, South Africa. For 11 days I'm giving my life to an organization called Living Hope, whose main goal is to provide care and treatment for people living with AIDS and HIV.

I'm not sure exactly what I'll experience while there.. but I know it will be life changing.
Your thoughts and prayers are certainly appreciated while I'm gone.

----

And when I get home things are gonna be intense.
We're getting ready to start work recording a new album. The band has been working on new songs for the past year, and we're gonna make an album that I think will really blow you away.

And on July 20th we have a big announcement.
A. Big. Announcement.

Let's just say that we're doing something so cool you won't want to miss it. I promise.

Personally, it's been a crazy couple of years... but I'm more excited and focused than I've ever been as an artist. Hopefully you'll see that overflow in the next few months.

----

So please forgive me, but I'll probably be pretty silent (other than on Twitter) for the next few weeks as I travel and get ready for our big announcement.

I hope you enjoy the summer.
Stay up late, hold on to the ones you love, and trust your heart.

Talk soon.

How very awesome and compassionate to be able to donate yourself to such a great organization, not to mention the travel on top of it. I do believe it will infact be life changing. Good luck, God Speed.
