 Review - Animals Killing People
Animals Killing People - Kentucky Fried Killing - Sevared records (2008-2009).
Manuel Quique - Guitars/Bass, Wilson Rairan - Drums, Justin Boehm - Vocal Sessions.
Well well well. Finally! AKP have returned to cd format! Do you know who -- It doesn't matter if you know who they are, just as long as you like it brutal as a bear attack! Leaving you torn and asunder it will. If those vocals don't rub it into your face then maybe the drumming will serve your head on a platter. The guitar riffs are catchy and spell binding. Bass slaps keep it heavy and distorted through the killing carnage. It doesn't make a grand showing, but like I spelled out, it keeps the hot side hot and the cool side cool. Good mix of guitars and bass. No frowns will be warranted. hahaha Now those vocals just plow through every defence you think you have. Unholy fuck! Where did AKP steal Justin from? The name seems really familiar, but I can't place him... Deep, belly torturing growls based in broken glass. Just sick as shit! Something is crawling its way up from hell and it its hungry for human meat. Great vocals! Now for my favorite part of the show... Wilson and his drumming. Insane to say the least! Blasts, fills and some evil rolls just out and out destroy the stage for miles. The grooves just compliment the speed and devastation that spills outward like a cascading wave. Wilson take a bow my friend. You deserve it! The production could have been a bit louder when it comes to the drumming and guitar parts. The vocals were done quite well. That's my only complaint. Is that the instruments should have at least been on par with the vocals. Other then that, a great grinding experience to say the least. As if you couldn't tell these guys have NO tolerance for abuse against animals. Don't let that steer you away from getting this album. Listen, enjoy and decide for yourself. Simple isn't it?
This would have gotten more nails slammed into the coffin if not for that so-so pro job. 8 out of 10. Eat that! hahaha
