Studio 70 v1.0 is slowly but surely building. Studio 70 is just a nickname, there's really no name. Once again the weather has fucked my schedule up as everyday something is planned to accomplish; I have to keep the tasks in line, easy to load into the mag as acts of God interfere. Stupid seasonal weather. 4-7" in the middle of February, WTF?

My big order is traveling via FedEx as we speak to Bloomfield NJ in this chop. The last time I traveled in weather like this was when I transported my Rhodes and upright bass to Bob's (Bloomfield). I had rented a 8' cargo van and didn't realize until grabbing the keys it was a commercial vehicle, the snow starting in the background. So navigating tunnels and bridges, parking in a loading zone a block away b/c 21st was closed that day btwn 5th and 6th, and being banned from the parkways was definitely making it interesting. BTW, the Holland is NOT commercial, and the truck entrance to the Lincoln is down 11th at 40th or so. Follow the trucks. Couple this with sensitive gear stress, Jersey, and snow.

The studio will be centered around a Mac Pro 2.8 Quad hosting DP, Lynx Aurora 16, Big Ben, MOTU hardware, all summed with a Dangerous 2-Bus and finishing with a Lavry Black AD10 to Masterlink. Everything will be on a full normalled TT/bantam patch bay. Still have to get some workhorse items like a decent guitar and amp, fretted bass guitar. UAD-1, Waves SSL, and GRM Tools will be the high-end plugs on the Mac. EVERYTHING (300+) else hosted on an Music XPC, Abelton Live, EW/Kontakt stuff, AudioMulch, CDP. Probably will host Metasynth on an old Mac stand-alone b/c they aren't Leopard-ready yet.
