I wrote this for my myspace... but thought you all may want to check it out:
So we are quickly coming up on three and a half weeks on
this 311 tour with Ziggy Marley so I thought I would share some pictures and
recaps with everyone.
We started the tour in Santa Barbara at the Santa Barbara
Bowl, first day of the tour so it was crazy as the first day always is.
Moved on to Eugene, Oregon, venue was super cool, nice good
weather…

After Eugene we moved on to Seattle for one of the only in door events of the tour… the show was super fun, all three bands killed it as usual.
The next day was Boise for us… the Unity tour had a day off so we saw our friends at Nobodys Hero Tattoo in Boise and did a set at the Knitting Factory in Boise, we had so much fun we took the next day off there too.
After the Boise hangovers were finished we awoke in Salt Lake City, Utah for one of the largest venues of the tour. Usana Amphitheater. The weather was crap… I some how split the skin on my shin pretty much to the bone but some how everything went awesome.
The Stage in Salt Lake City, UT
After SLC we moved on to Red Rocks in Colorado, THIS PLACE IS INSANE. Its built right into the red rocks near Denver, Colorado. GREAT GREAT PLACE

Since then we have made our way through the mid west very quickly… Chicago show was at Northerly Island… cool venue. Then moved to Ohio for two shows… one MASSIVE show in Cleveland then off to this crazy venue in Columbus where the stage was shared by two venues, one indoor venue, one outdoor venue, Unity tour was at the outdoor venue.
Me with some Crazy Cleveland Weed, thanks Chris!

We then blew through Detroit, Cincinnati and Indianapolis putting us at today show, the first east coast date of the tour in Saratoga Springs New York. The week is going to be quick and insane… we are looking forward to all the shows, especially central park in Manhattan… it’s going to be INSANE. I’ll keep trying to take some pictures and throw some more up after this little run of shows.
