I know I haven't written in a while, but as I'm currently watching "The View"" I had to. Now I haven't watched the show in years, but Star got fired and that made me start watching again. I watched the show bring in a barrage of possible replacements for Star including, Deborah Roberts, Shannon Dougherty and Brandy. By watching the show I started listening to Elizabeth and getting really freaked out by the things that come out of her mouth. She is spewing right wing, Christian propaganda like a drunken Mel Gibson. Finally, Rosie and Anne Coulter, I mean Elizabeth got into it during "Hot Topics." Rosie brought up the President's speech on 9/11 and critiqued it. Elizabeth quickly defended him like he was her father. It was fucking crazy. Even Republicans stopped defending him a while ago.

It's hard for me to fathom, when women defend a political party that wants to make decisions for them about their bodies. The argument that they don't want abortion to be used as a method of birth control doesn't hold water. It has always been about control, and not the Janet Jackson kind. It's the kind of control that men have always wanted over women, giving them some freedoms, but they still get to rule over them with religion and laws. I think men have always feared that women don't need them because of the fact that women can reproduce and men can't.

I think that it is great for everyone to have different opinions and different beliefs in this country. That is supposedly what America is about. When your beliefs are holding back a group of people from having the same rights that you are entitled, that's really fucked up. When certain members of the group that is being held back, defend the group that is holding them back, that's called an 'Elizabeth Hasselbeck.'

HAHA right on.  Republicans suck.   I actually didn't know that they were considering other replacements for Star Jones.  I wonder what would have happened if one of the other candidates would have filled the chair.

I agree 100%. The ladies on "The View" talk sooo much shit. That Hasselbeck makes me wanna Vomit. But that would be a waste of perfectly good vomit.  Also, I want someone to tell Star Jones that it don't matter how much weight she lost or what she has done to her Boobs, She will always be "Fat Ass Star" to us. And don't get me started on Barbra! She's like 1000 years old!!

"I think men have always feared that women don't need them because of the fact that women can reproduce and men can't."  Speaking of reproductive envy, I just read something recently about the male need for war because men can't "shed blood" like women.  In that case, more people would be alive if Bush mentruated.

I love you, Bruce. If you weren't gay, I'd want your children. :p

Agreed with you 110% about Elizabitch Hasselbitch. And this is the little twit I rooted for in the 2nd "Survivor"? She needs to be dropped off in another remote, treacherous part of the planet--like maybe Fallujah--then maybe she'll rethink hitching her wagon to the Reich-wingers.
