I was reading about Ace Frehley's new album! I have to admit to curiosity there, as well as The Black Crowes' new one! I don't know if this will surprise you or not, but I have Regina Spektor's Far!!! There's a part of me that's nervous about the new Kiss. I guess it's the same feeling as any Megadeth from The System Has Failed and onward. Not that the following albums have been bad or anything! It's just that there's a particular ingredient missing that was very prominent up through Cryptic Writings. Well, Risk and The World Needs A Hero had that particular vibe, if not as prominent. I picked up the new Pearl Jam last month on the 20th, and it impressed me! It's on the concise side, but there's a really energetic feel to the material!!!

This has inspired me to work on  a list of my own, taking some elements from this and your favorite/most influential albums. I've got a lot of digging back to figure out what albums shaped 2009 for me, both new and old. There's probably going to be older material as well, but for the most part, the only things going on the list are those that were new to me. Thanks for the idea!

Oh, look up The Fireman! I've been on a strange latter-day Paul McCartney kick here and there, and this material just might impress you! The album is Electric Arguments and I have the record playing right now. Good stuff!
