Now I'm working mostly on finishing my old income taxes. I also applied for two jobs today -- I am resolved to research them better, make stronger pitches, and not apply to everything I could possibly do. So one is half-time publicizing and writing research into child and adolescent mental health, and the other is managing internet community support for a travel website -- both areas where I have substantial experience. Although my training in child psychiatry is mostly from the school of hard knocks. (If either of my children are reading this, I am of course referring to the OTHER one!) Last week I wrote a piece on the Italian diaspora for a food encyclopedia. And I have the weekly restaurant column to feed.

So there's always plenty to write!
