Ok. We all know that Fresno has a reputation of being high in crime, kinda ghetto and gross, and just all around not appealing... Well, I'll be honest, up until this weekend, I hadn't seen much to really support this. Yes, there was a shooting down the street from the college the first week of classes and the people in and around Fresno are homely and use incorrect grammar...but it really has been great! There are really nice shopping areas and the 'no has a lively love of sports...very positive things, all in all...

WELL, I finally got a taste of what it means to live in Fresno Friday evening... There I was, just sitting at my computer, when I get a knock on my door... It's my next door neighbor... He tells me, "you girls have the Scion right?" I say we do, then he says, "well, somebody broke your passanger side window...there is glass all over the ground."..

What??

Seriously!!

I get Aimee and we go out and check....sure enough, we've been vandalized! Nothing was stolen, thank God, it doesn't even look like they opened the door after breaking the window... Our parking spot is close to the apartment building and close to the enterance of our complex, yet this was still able to transpire?? What kind of city is this!! Why do Aimee and I get the shit piece? Like, we've been so good about making sure everything was locked and secure....and this is what we get?

I'm happy to be getting my degree at Fresno State, but I honestly have little love for the city of Fresno.
