LISA CRAWLEY - Hello, Goodbye and Everything Inbetween (self released) Yes, she's my esteemed colleague's sister; so, of course, writing this review could be wrought with challenges - casting my critical ear to what a friend has created is always going to be difficult. The number of times you've had to say "Yeah, nah, nah... it's really... ummm... interesting... I mean... I'm not normally into that kinda of thing... but... yeah.... it's really good that you're doing it..." Thankfully, I can, with my head held high, and without flinching at all, look you in the eye and assure you that this five track EP is really good. Thankfully, these songs are warm, charming, and playful and, thankfully, they are exquisitely sung and performed. Thankfully, they are actually addictive to listen to, and, thankfully, they make me keep hitting repeat on my player. Gee, thanks Lisa. Thanks for making a great EP - you've made my job as a reviewer so much easier. Can you make a great LP now, please? Cos I want some more. Thanks. - AT
