Hi There,

Since this page is severely lacking in content and I'm waiting out a cancelled/rescheduled flight, I thought I'd post an old/unreleased track.  This one is so old that I'm not even on it.  "Last Year" was recorded some time in 1992 when Dave was still playing drums with Tim and Ian and the band was called Electrolux.

...As were about 5 other bands from various cities across the US.

Anyhow, this was on the first tape of Tim and Ian that I ever heard.  I had been playing drums for about 3 months, and when I heard they needed a drummer I began practicing the songs on the tape with a walkman in my basement.  Learned 'em all entirely wrong, too.  Anyways, this was one of those songs.  Back then Ian was running bass through 2 amps, and had this really cool chorus he was using that just killed me.  Almost sounds like a cello (or a bad synth version of a cello) on this one. 

I'm not sure what else to say about the song, and I'm not even sure how well it holds up.  My perception of it is probably permanently skewed from my early experiences with it.  Hopefully you'll enjoy...
