This was a great moment! This was taken after the Native Contemporary Arts Festival, at the Intertribal Friendship House in Oakland. We were outside waiting to go in, when the sister stopped me and asked if i had performed earlier that day. She told us that she "had been resting, enjoying the beauitful Solstice weather, when she heard one of her tribal songs, in her own language, IN REGGAE!!!!"
It is always a pleasure, joy and honor to stop and chat with Buffalo, truly a liiving historical figure, existing purely in the moment and ready for the future!
