I was pretty devastated to learn of the death of Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton within the last few days. The three Stooges albums are without a doubt three of my favourite ever and the intro to 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' remains the piece of music that sends a shiver down my spine every time and the young Yakuza hacked our way through it manys a time at practice and onstage like a million upstart bands before us. I was lucky enough to catch The Stooges three times on their recent reunion tours and was blown away every time.
