Hi Y'all,

You may know that we have been working with the gorgeous Hollywood star Karen David over the last couple of years,having a great time playing gigs like the tiny Ritzy in Brixton,Bush Hall,Indian Embassy Nehru Centre and Wychwood Festival etc building up material and getting it out there as you do!

Its been fab to hone the live sound as I've been able to bring in lots of my favourite Indian instruments and players as this is an essential part of Karen's sound.We are talking my long term collaborator SIRISHKUMAR on tabla,Jonathan Mayer on sitar and also Genevieve Wilkins on percussion.

I produced a live EP which came out in spring of this year and now Karen is moving on with an album which also involves the Bombay Dub Orchestra(top guys in their field!)and mixed by Jonnie Dougalas who has produced many top artists.

She has a BIG acting career going on as well(and I thought I was busy!)with starring roles in The colour of Magic with David Jason and The 3rd SCORPION KING film due out in the USA this august!

She tells me that all the LA press are really interested in her music too so this is going to be a big boost.............we've gotta get that album out ASAP!!!!!!! I'd better get back to work on those string parts.................
