A review of The Giant’s Fence
There is a review that I like for my book
The Giant's Fence
. It was written by the visual poet Geof Huth. The review can be found
here
. It includes some pictures of my work so you can get an idea what it's all about.

That thing on my head
Michael Briel
As promised I had a closer look now and I am impressed. While the whole concept of ... asemic writing (I had to go and look it up again) is pretty (no, exchange that with "completely") new for me I can't help but simply like how the pages from your book look!
They're visually pleasing to my eye, maybe in the same way Egypt hieroglyphs, Japanese poetry drawn with an ink brush or similar forms of communication-art are, without the initial need in me to actually understand them.
Are those old scriptures from a long lost cult or a civilisation? Or maybe from Alien beings? Dark messages from an unholy Lovecraftian book? One can't help but wonder... :)

impression is got and comes across that in pricipal / reality, these glyphs, runes, cyphers, grams, cygnes and gestures etc are self conscious / deliberate feeling and intention got across. are there any premediated and / or inadvertant consistent characters / marks -or even ways in which they appear (style, structure etc)? did my best to say / ask this -but hope my points / questions make at least some sense.
