Hello everybody,

Another week of congratulations and thanks for standing in the f.r.e.e.z.i.n.g. cold queue, old man winter obviously isn't taking the hint and wants a good hard kick in his frosty nuts. If you are planning to visit us next week from somewhere sunny (by definition outside the uk) please do your best to drag that lazy solar disc slightly northwards with you, we'll buy you drinks or crack or something. Also, thanks to Sophie who covered for Rory in the lounge while he was away whoring himself and getting all tanned and buff in the good ol' u.s.a.

Special shout out to the two young ladies who pulled off the most amazing dance display I've seen for yonks, where they did all the standard robot manouveures, shape throwing and hip swinging except that they were doing them whilst lying flat on the floor, going round and round in circles and grinning broadly, rounding of the display with a fit of hysterical laughter. When they'd had enough, one got up and pulled the other, by the leg, across the dancefloor. And she didn't care. Puts the rest of us to shame.

LIVE SHOWS

So we have lots of excellent live guests and djs coming to play the club through the spring - the ones we can tell you about go like this:

17th April - Special Guests! Can't say who just yet so start indulging your fantasies and send all stupid suggestions on a postcard to Andy Crane or Andy Peters, BBC TV, Wood Lane, London, W something Etc and so on. Haven't seen either of them on the box for a while so I guess they're a bit bored. Lets help them out.

24th April - Whirlwind Heat! They return for their second Trash show, wherein you can hear their single 'Reagan' which has been a Lovely Jonjo staple for the last few weeks.

And then at the beggining of May we have more Superb Special Guests! We'll tell you who when we've confirmed the date cos we wouldn't want to raise your hopes before cruelly dashing them on the rocks of indie despair.

We still haven't got confirmed dates for Good Shoes or Simian Mobile Disco, but we promise, promise, promise they are gonna play. At some point. Soon.
