Hey there! I've been getting a lot of questions about when new shows will be out. Have no fear, Discovery has lots of shows saved up for a whole new set of shows starting in late July, including an awesome 2-hour Shark Week special. There will also be a huge marketing push with billboards in some areas, commercials on other channels, and print media. Be patient, we'll be back with all new episodes soon.

Grant

UPDATE: 2-hour Shark Week special premieres Sunday, July 27, and new episodes start August 6. Eleven new shows in a row!!!

Yay to new Mythbusters! You guys should do some sort of viral marketing thing. Maybe some kind of flash game where we can beat up on poor Buster in various ways at the Mythbusters web site. (Or Adam...)

COOL!!!!
I watched the show on the concrete airplanes last night and the train suction. It was great! Although I knew the train wouldn't suck you into it. Growing up with the tracks right in my back yard and all. I have spent a great deal of time on them tracks. Still never the less standing beside a train going 60 mph is scary. All that mass going that fast. You wont stand there too much. Me and a buddy of mine once climbed those racks that hold the lights over the tracks and passing trains. We each straddled a light as a cargo train passed underneath us. It was unreal!! The train being a diesel has these huge fans on top that blow a massive amount of air. With the air of the passing train as well as the air from the fans and the tremendous shaking of the rack we were on it was one thing we never tried again. But you know it was an experience we've never forgotten. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Every time I watch a show I am always amazed at the knowledge you posses and how easily you can work things out. It just amazes me every time. My favorite part of the shows have migrated to the part you, tory, and kari do. I like the part adam and jamie do as well but you three are my favorites. Keep up the awesome work and I am absolutely thrilled to hear that new shows are on the way. Good luck and have a good un!!

Oh Grant you soo made my day!! Even my son is getting all the episode reruns memorized! Of course he thinks it makes him look smarter because he can explain the science aspect long before you guys do! He also has been inspired by you...and is trying to make a robot out of legos and parts of things. He says...Grant is cool, because he makes science toys!

Great to hear, Grant. If I see any gigantic Imahara billboards towering over New York, I'll be sure to snap you a pic. I mean, if The Deadliest Catch guys can get a nine-story building covered in their mugs, you guys should easily get half of The Chrysler Building.

Ok, I'm glad to hear that.

I'm a huge fan of the show, and of M5. I even want to work at M5 once I get my Mechanical Engineering Degree. (I'm going to be a Senior in high school this year.)

But I'm worried that the show will run out of myths to bust. Does this seem like an possibility? Or is it just me?

Loved the shark week episodes. I have to wonder, is it hard for all of you to get insurance with the risky things you do? It's one of the few shows my 16 year old son and I enjoy together. I'm hoping he'll get to work with the people on Surviving History after he graduates since he has already built many of his own weapons and things. Don't worry, he is well adjusted!
