if by this point you do not know what 686 Smarty Technology is, then we will tell you.


Anything that is 686 and has "smarty" In the name means it has a removable liner. A liner you can wear casually after shredding. The liners are basically a comfy fleece track pant or jacket.The liners zip into the pants or jacket so it does not move around while you shred. Unzip it and take off your snowboard pants/jacket and you have lounge pants/jacket to wear at the bar or at your buddies pad after shredding. If it is too warm to wear the liner, than don't. You can wear the pants or jacket without the liner on those warm days.



I personally really like my smarty pants. I stay so warm on those cold days. I take shred breaks at work and when I get back sometimes I got to dig straight into work and don't have time to go change fully. Just wear the comfy liner the rest of the day at work.


Other friends of mine are snowboard instructors and love they can stay warm and in between lessons just take the snowboard pants off and not need to full change.
