Current mood: angsty Category: Life
Hey hey hey-It is March 18th and BFF has a big sunburn. That is thanks to the nice people of Austin, TX for welcoming us down for some shows in and out of SXSW. Thanks to Todd P and Clayton and other folks for making that possible. I think that was the most fun we have ever had in the month of March. While in Austin Jes sold a bunch of beautiful posters ( visit http://landland.net/ to see them...) Bri took a tour of the Texas State Capitol and reaffirmed what she already knew (that Minnesota’s is more beautiful) and Joe drank a lot of Lone Star Beer and reaffirmed what he already knew (that Pabst Blue Ribbon is the superior budget beer.) Also, we think the tofu at the Bouldin Creek Cafe on S 1st St. is out of this world. We would like you to know that we are about to re-release our first album + the songs from our split tape release + the songs from our 7" record on plan-it-x records. You could call this the Say and Stay Said Era re-release. Jes made the packaging look really nice, and the songs are representative of what Jes and Bri wrote songs like when they were ages 19-21. We are also working on a t-shirt to be facillitated by plan-it-x. All of this can be ordered at plan-it-x.com. Expect both by the end of April. We are also planning on touring the NATION in the month of August. We will start booking in May. If you want to nominate your city to be a place that we stop and play send us a message and we’ll do all we can to make it possible. There is no town to small, no location too remote for the likes of BFF. We are really excited to be a band and travel and meet YOU! Hope to see you soon. LOVE, BRI JES AND JOE.
Here is a joke that only makes sense when you are driving in a car and pass a sign for a city called Ponder City.
Jes- Hmmm. I wonder what it is like to live in Ponder City Joe- I’ll have to think about that...
Bri- HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHA HAHA HA
