Couldn't have been further from the truth!

When I went to log into MySpace today I decided to view my public page first because I wanted confirmation that it has been FOREVER since I last logged in here. Yes, it was confirmed and forever = 12 days and that's probably the longest stint I've been away from MySpace in over 2 years.

Although I have been blogging a bit on Facebook (gasp!) and I have whined a bit about potentially outgrowing MySpace especially when I read a lot about drama from people that don't even really know each other.



Take 2 of these and open MySpace in the morning!

Despite all the bull,  I still have lots of love for my blog readers and the bloggers that I read. This is true despite my 12 day hiatus and perhaps even longer since I've left a comment on a blog even if I had a chance to read it prior to my Virus Vacation.

Virus Vacation?

Yes, although it seems like some kind of freaky sexually transmitted disease my faithful little laptop was infected my some sort of Trojan virus. Now, from the outside looking in I would expect TROJAN to be something to protect me from a virus, however, hackers are funny little sorts and that couldn't be further from the truth.

My little Trojan Virus decided to inhabit my Outlook, send random messages to weirdos all over the world (if you got one sorry and if you really aren't a weirdo I'm sorry for that too). Then it decided to start randomly opening web pages and slowing my computer down to nearly 1996 AOL dial up speed. I know I'm showing my age here but those who experienced AOL in 1996 know exactly what I mean.


Oh, the "Glory Days" of AOL!


The best course of action was to just stop using my baby until she could get the attention she needed. With all the craziness in my life right now that worked out to be 12 days.

Thank goodness for 2 things: (1) I have a boyfriend who is a genius at fixing computers and (2) I have a G1 phone that has kept me in relative touch with people and things over the past few weeks. I am actually able to run the entire show from the Google Phone and that pretty cool.



It's almost embarrassing how much I love this phone!

So now that my baby is fresh and fixed and her Trojan's have been flushed down the digital toilet I will return to MySpace and catch up on all the things that I have missed.

What a great topic for your show tonight! I'll bet there are some interesting stories. It's been entirely too long since I tuned in. I will do my best to call in tonight (even though I have no stories).
