Current mood:  accomplished

It was a matchup that had to happen....one man...trying to overcome his greatest obstacle...his opponent...a 10 page politics paper...not due for five days....but if it was not done today...he would surely procrastinate until thursday night. Something had to give, and on this day either a champion would be crowned...or politics would claim yet another victim.

The battle began at two o' clock in the afternoon of this day. (I'm going to switch to first person now) I turned on the laptop, and gathered up all my textbooks and stuff, any information I could find. I sat down on the recliner...and knew I wouldn't be moving from this spot for a while, slowly, I began typing.

The hours dragged by, and it seemed like I was getting nowhere. I saw the beginning and end of a curling game, and I think I was maybe half done. Still...I kept going. Slowly but surely the pages started to add up.

Finally around 7:30 I was finished, and only had to cite all my references and make a title page.

It was around 8:00 when I was done, and wow it was one of the biggest weights off my shoulders ever.

Now I look ahead to another busy week...but I'm heading home this weekend!!

Aren't you forgetting the restaraunt you put out of business with their all-you-can-eat bacon special earlier that day?
