Widely known for their intoxicating lead single ‘Release Me’ as heard on Saab’s recent international TV campaign, Sweden’s Oh Laura are set to captivate Australian audiences on their highly anticipated Australian Tour.Following sold out shows across Europe and London, the premier Australian Tour follows the recent release of their gorgeously seductive debut album ‘a song inside my head, a demon in my bed’. Featuring as one of the international headliners on this year’s Queenscliff Music Festival in Victoria, Oh Laura will also perform two intimate side shows at Sydney’s The Basement on Thursday November 27th (with special guests Dead Letter Chorus and Heidi Elva), and Melbourne’s Manchester Lane, Sunday November 30th (with special guests Epicure and King Tebbutt & Whistler).“Sighting influences from Billie Holiday to The Beatles via Madonna, Kate Bush and Bob Dylan, Oh Laura’s live presence is as enigmatic as the work of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks which inspired their name in the first part.
