I want to thank everyone who came
out to The Record Collector last week to catch our show. It was a great,
intimate, night. And such a well-behaved bunch… We'll have to fix that next time
; )
The following night, I attended
my 35 year high school reunion. It was great to have the bragging rights of a
Gold Record Award, and I learned that someone who beat me up over 40 years ago
has been racked with guilt ever since… a warning to bullies, and consolation for
the bullied. Apparently, he suffered for it a lot more than I did.
There was some confusion at
CDBABY, and I MADE A MONSTER failed to appear on their site even though it was
in stock, but we’ve got that remedied and it’s now available. http://cdbaby.com/cd/undead4 We’ll have

Now, I’m getting ready for
Halloween. We’ve cancelled my appearance at MAMA’S for this week, and the next –
so that I can work on a SPECIAL PROJECT for October 29th. For the
next two weeks, I’ll be working on acoustic arrangements of songs from 12 HITS FROM HELL. Who knows how it’ll turn
out – but I don’t want to just strum the chords and do hokey versions. So I’m
trying to find unique angles – like a jazzed up Vampira. You won’t want to miss
this party, though. I may never do this again, and if nothing else, it’ll be
fun.
We’ve also got some plans for the following three days at CHILLER – where I’ll be sharing space with MR JIM and FRANCHE COMA, and hopefully a few other former comrades will show up. From what I’m being told at this point, we’re given a very prominent spot at this event. We should have advance copies of the I WANT YOU DEAD 45/CD on hand, too. These won’t be available elsewhere until late November. This one’ll give you FIVE songs for a mere FIVE BUX – unlike that overpriced, 2-song 12” that took some stooge 10 years to come up with. (sorry – I had to slip that one in).
