In the interest of fairness, I’m gonna give some needed exposure to a few actual candidates for New York City Mayor.
These are REAL candidates, and these profiles are directly out of the pages of the “New York City Campaign Finance Board 2009 General Election VOTER GUIDE”
Before I continue – to avoid any liability, I have to advise you to be sitting down as you read this.

Now, are those some amazing accomplishments, or what ? She’s a STUDENT. And I see she’s got a serious case with Billionaires. Ironically, I think the Billionaires would support her call to lower their taxes from the current – what(?) 50% that they pay now ? Stick it to ‘em – you got ‘em where it counts.
After that, maybe you’d “consider” lowering MY taxes to only 5%, too.
Housing IS a ‘Right’, an like I read in another blog – so is owning a gun, but I have to buy a gun if I want it, too.
For someone whose only ‘occupation’ has been STUDENT, you MUST know how great unions are.
Barack’s Granma was a “bank executive” why you gotta throw her under the bus… again?
If you REALLY want to push back the tuition increases at CUNY – why not ask your Socialist teachers to start SHARING THE WEALTH, instead of milking you for all you’re worth to them.
I bet this guy would keep us in ‘stitches’ for a term. No ‘Educatioal Background’. Does that make him one of those ‘useful idiots’ we hear about ? By the way – Mr FEIN… Socialists generally slaughter Jews. If you’d gone to school, you might’ve learned about Hitler and Stalin – both great Socialist friends of the Jewish race.
Hey… you blame the Democrats and Republicans for the economic crisis, but if they hadn’t submitted to the SOCIALIST pressures to give mortgages to the chronically unemployed – we wouldn’t have this problem.

“Guaranteed unemployment compensation at union scale for all workers until they find a job”. That’s a real incentive to get back to work. Damn… let me work a few months, do a slack job – and then get laid off and collect FULL SALARY for life…
I once knew a guy who’d work for his father just long enough, piss dad off and get fired – so he could collect. Finally, his father caught on, and only hired him off the books from then on…

“Neighborhood DEFENDER” I picture this guy in tights and a cape, swooping in to rescue old ladies and cripples from dickwad landlords.
At least, Issue-wise – he’s fairly rational, and if implemented those ideas could save a shitload of money.
But his “Prior Public Experience = 0” contradicts his answer to #3…
But my absolute NUMBER ONE CHOICE…
How can I not love this guy. He tells the truth – RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH, and he’s not gonna let us forget it, either. He’s got an impeccable background (in 53 years, that’s the first time I ever said ‘impeccable’)...
Letter Carrier – you know he’s talked with tons of people. The guy’s a DECORATED VETERAN, and a hell of a lot cooler than “I was in Nam” Kerry, too.
I just love how every answer is “RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH”, and to tell you the truth, as I read this, I was laughing so hard, I fell down in tears for over 30 minutes.
He’s 100 times as entertaining as Ed Koch, and RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH.
And I have to say – with heart like his, and his obvious personality… I wouldn’t be surprised if he did manage to lower rents, if elected.
To quote David Letterman – “you just can’t make this stuff up”.
