Fifty Two cards....
It may not sound like much, but in reality, these cards are very similar to our lives.
We all have our own deck, and we can play those cards any way we choose.
Much like a poker table in Vegas, we may not hand pick the cards that we are dealt, but it is up to us to use the cards we have to the best of our ability.
Some of us ignore what we are handed, and fold.
Some of us take a horrible hand and win the game anyways.
Every round is different, and we can only be sure of one thing;
if we don't play, we can't win.
Of course tactic, skill, and even luck contribute to our outcomes, but ultimately our fate is our decision.
Attitude is everything, but heart supersedes all.
Heart and soul. Even if you play the game and lose, as long as your heart was in it.... you've really only won the experience to do better next time.
So in the words of a great song.... "The Queen of Hearts is always your best bet."
