Wanted to thank everyone that came out to see us last night and being patient since we went on so late. We had a pretty good draw but I know most of you left after a few songs because we went on around 1230am in the morning. I thank you for staying at least for a few songs. The only other thing I want to write about is a comment I got from one of the people in the audience. This gentlemen came up to me just before I was about to go on and said "How does it feel to play in front of a small crowd"? "We are supposed to the headliner the best band on the bill tonight". My return reply to him was, "Well we promoted the best we could and if I have to win them over one person at a time it is worth it for me to keep coming back up her playing the original material I enjoy. I told him it takes a lot of effort to play in a band creating good music and finding that thing to get you on top. "Where we the best band? I don't think about things like that because all the bands where different from one another. Isn't it cool that we can sit back and listen to other bands express themselves. Whether you like them or not, it takes guts to get up there and make it happen. My point is that I can appreciate it and if it is something I like or don't like, doesn't mean the the effort wasn't there. Thus the one hit wonders!! Next time introduce yourself before you make me aware of something I already new! I'm sure we will work on our draw, which every band does constently.
