A Grassroots Approach:

We gather resources for projects which help mitigate the impact of AIDS and create grassroots awareness of AIDS and its global impact. In our work creating sustainable solutions and ongoing micro-enterprise opportunities in Africa, NextAid aims to utilize indigenous skills and materials so that poor communities can develop increasing self reliance for basic needs. Our approach is based on an active partnership with local communities and is largely driven by them.

Sustainable Development:

NextAid works hand-in-hand with environmentalists to create sustainable solutions to our two greatest global challenges: the destruction of our natural environment and the worldwide AIDS pandemic. The excessive consumption patterns of industrialized countries, coupled with the climate changing unpredictability of Global Warming, directly contributes to the scarcity of resources in Africa and around the world. By fostering solutions rooted in sustainable development, NextAid supports ecologically sound growth while balancing social and economic needs.

Positive Change through Music:

From mega-events like the Miami Music Conference and WIRED Magazine's "NextFest" in Los Angeles to small club and music-related activities, NextAid actively represents the international dance community in its effective and practical response to the AIDS pandemic. By providing an outlet for social philanthropy and channeling the support of the niche demographic worldwide, NextAid has established an opportunity for young people to truly make a difference in the lives of African children in need.
