BACK IN THE ROTTEN APPLE Hello All,
Miles Solay here. We just returned to NYC after two and a half weeks on
the road with Streetlight Manifesto and Broadway Calls. This tour was a
blast, having brought us to many new towns, including a slamming run
through Canada. So, first off I'd like to say whats up to all of you
whom we met on this last tour.
I've got an exciting
Outernational announcement to make. Some of you on this list are part
of the NYC Future Rock posse and have been to many a show this year.
Some of you we met while we were touring with Chris Cornell this past
Spring or at Warped Tour this summer. And even others of you are
longtime fans, people whom we've met online or at other shows,
festivals, benefits, protests, etc....
But all of you have at
one time or another wanted to get your hands on some Outernational
music and we were not able to deliver, either online or at shows. Due
to some bullshit with our old record company we weren't allowed to get
any music out. But I am happy to announce that we have just
self-released a Limited Edition
'EYES ON FIRE EP'.
This EP includes six songs (two from our forthcoming album, 3 other
tunes, AND A SPECIAL NIGHTWATCHMAN REMIX OF FIGHTING SONG - A DUET WITH
TOM MORELLO). This version of Fighting Song is an alternate mix that
Tom Morello himself made while mixing The Fabled City and is different
than the version streaming on our MySpace page.
There are
about 150 copies of this EP left and you can order an autographed copy
for $5. We'll also include ON stickers and some limited edition
postcards from our NYC shows/residencies (check them out on the Media
page of the website).
In the very near future the 'EYES ON
FIRE EP' will have a proper release including being available on
iTunes/Amazon.com and all the other sites. In the meantime, we are
counting on all of you - with all of your connections and creativity -
to help get the word out about this band and get these revolutionary
songs all over the place (radio, web, etc)
