This band started in late 2004/early 2005 as a...... well..... lets say a progressive alternative band, for lack of a better description.
We were raw. We were angry. We were finding out what we were about and what kind of music we were going to make.
We started out playing... well, wherever we could. The band hall on campus, the choir room, hell even out at Skene at the old school. We were driven and hungry to share our music with the rest of the world.
The first recordings were very different than what you hear on the site currently. In fact, so different, that you'll probably never hear them unless you're a close personal friend for reasons that we will not discuss......... Mainly because they kind of sucked, but we had some killer help recording, some awesome engineers/producers to get it done for us (Thanks Norbert and Willie), and we had a very memorable recording experience.
We played a couple local shows, two of which were shut down by the illustrious Cleveland police department for noise violations. For these shows, we were little more than a cover band, playing songs by Pantera, SOAD, and a Metallica medley that was, if I do say so myself, FUCKING BRUTAL. The shows were fun but small, and did not involve your typical metal crowd. We had good reactions, were well received, and started building a loyal fan base in the Delta. We started a annual show called Rock the Quad through Phi Mu Alpha at Delta State that is still going strong and getting better every year.
Sadly, Adam, our original drummer, had to leave the band for reasons beyond his control. We bid him farewell and feared the end of our little musical experiment. However, we found faith in one another, kept playing regularly, and decided to keep it going however we could.
We found Chad and Daniel through classes at school, and through hanging out with mutual friends. Robert, Jay, and I realized we had found the missing pieces to our music. We began practicing fiercely and booking shows in Memphis. It would be moderately successful and short lived.
After some sick shows, gained fans, and connections made, there was a dedication issue and a bit of interest conflict, I suppose, and we decided to part with Daniel and look for a new bassist. Nance joined the fray shortly thereafter, and we booked another slew of shows in Memphis and the surrounding areas.
After several months, more sick shows, and once again, a bit of conflicting interests and dedication issue, we parted with Nance and began to pursue another bassist.
Somewhere in the wait for a fresh start, we lost focus.
Practices became sparing, and after a couple months, just didn't happen.
We grew apart. Lost touch with each other for a while... lost faith in our efforts, and maybe in ourselves.
I made a promise to the guys in this band that I would stick with this until it was impossible to continue. That I would see it through to the bitter end. I'm still making good on that promise, and I just wanted to share a bit with... I guess anybody who reads this, that we're not fucking done.
We've been working with Daniel again, in case you missed the last one, and hoping to rekindle some old spark. We're still hungry. We're still driven. We're still angry.
Practice is resuming and we're getting geared back up to gig again.
We have new material. We're polishing up old material. We're doing an overhaul on the site soon, and will have some new goodies and what not.... Fucking point is:
I have a lot to say.
WE have a lot to say.
And you're gonna hear it whether you like it or not.
Put your game faces back on, damnit.
We're about to show you a brand new dance.
And it goes like this:

Widelee widelee widelee wooooooooowwwwwwwwwww
Chica Boom.

(Punch to your face)
