A little bit of research after reading Zechariah and Malachi last night.

----------------------
Zechariah 13: 7-9

The Shepherd Struck, the Sheep Scattered

7 "Awake, O sword, against my shepherd,
against the man who is close to me!"
declares the LORD Almighty.
"Strike the shepherd,
and the sheep will be scattered,
and I will turn my hand against the little ones.

8 In the whole land," declares the LORD,
"two-thirds will be struck down and perish;
yet one-third will be left in it.

9 This third I will bring into the fire;
I will refine them like silver
and test them like gold.
They will call on my name
and I will answer them;
I will say, 'They are my people,'
and they will say, 'The LORD is our God.' "
---------------------
How many Christians are there?

---------------------
Malachi 3

1 "See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come," says the LORD Almighty.

2 But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,
---------------------

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

---------------------

My Thoughts:
Believing in Christ is only the first step to salvation.
As Christians, we will still be judged by our actions.

---------------------

14After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. 15"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" (Mark 14-15)

---------------------

REPENT means not only to ask for forgiveness, but to turn away from sin as well.

---------------------

I love you all! Have a great NEW YEAR!!! :)

The chart is pretty interesting. It made me also ask what the heck are sikhs? I'll wikipedia it....

"Sikh is the title and name given to an adherent of Sikhism. The term has its origin in the Sanskrit "shishya", which means disciple or learner. Many male Sikhs can easily be recognized by their turbans, beards, or steel bracelets on their right wrists. The greater Punjab region is the historic homeland of Sikhism. Most Sikhs are from the Punjabi people and now come from the Punjab region of India, although significant communities exist around the world."

Punjab, that's what she said.

If you've ever been to NYC Danielle, just a taxi ride alone would show you what a Sikh follower is like :) The most notable item is the turban. If I remember correctly, they have 7 points of holiness. The turban, the beard, the bracelet, a small dagger, and 3 more I don't remember.
