i'm currently in london about to play the last of three nights at ronnie scott's.

last night, the almighty bill bruford made his 2 hour trek into town in some nasty rain, and we had a great meal and hang in general. for the record, i tried to pay but he refused.

bill is easily one of the nicest and smartest guys i've ever met. whenever i am in his company, i always learn something...whether we were talking about drums/music (specifically how the two unfortunately don't always go together), hardships of the road, family life, or just life in general, he always provided poignant insight and advice.
