I am tired of self-righteous dogmatic idiots boorishly wielding scripture like some ignoble  ignoramus with a hatchet to validate their bigotry. Hurling ill-gotten quotes and anecdotes at me with a force that only an empty headed overzealous sycophant could achieve. These are the same denizens of the right that think they can use the bits that they want and ignore the rest and I'm done with it! The next time one of these close-minded, over indoctrinated, brainwashed, acolytes of hate and intolerance tells me that homosexuality is an abomination, or that fornication is a sin, or any of a glut of other such moral or pious nuggets of selective learning. If these pompous pricks of perfidy want to quote scripture at me then I think I should quote some back. Lets start with Leviticus 18:22 which is their favorite line against homosexuality, stating it is an abomination. Fine then, I would like to sell my daughter into slavery to help in these hard economic times as is sanctioned in Exodus 21:7, how much do you think I can get for her; I know she is still young but she will grow into a fine woman servant able to bear many children when she is of age. How about Deuteronomy 25:5 which says that a widow must marry and bear children to her brother-in-law. How about exodus 35:2 which says that the punishment for working on the Sabbath is to be put to death or anyone who blasphemes being stoned by all unto death in Leviticus 24:16. If touching the skin of a dead pig makes one unclean how will we have football to watch (Leviticus 11:7). My personal favorite would shut Dr. Laura up and that is 1 Corinthians 14:34 saying women should not speak in the churches, the spirit of which is in context of they should not speak of religious learnings.  In 1 Timothy 2:9 it says women should dress modestly with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes. The bottom line is that these sanctimonious assholes like to think that they are smarter and more morally irreprehensible when in reality they are more in the wrong than the people they preach against for taking "Gods word" piecemeal thereby making them false prophets and supplicants of Satan. So much for Christians being Christ like, but hey, Mathew 7:1 judge not lest you be judged......
