Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes everyone!  I know I've been awol, but it's been a busy week.

My oldest was home from University last week, the first time since he left in August, so we all basically worshipped the ground on which he walked, for 5 days.

I had Thanksgiving dinner this year, so there was a lot of preparation, cooking, silver polishing, etc.  We had the entire family represented, using my MiL's silver, our wedding china, my grandmothers dining room suit, my mother's recipes, etc.

Friday is our traditional day to begin decorating for Christmas...the entire house looks as though there was an explosion in a Christmas store.  I have 3 wreaths up, and most of the Santa Claus' pulled out and ready for display.  It's a mess!

Saturday was the Iron Bowl, and for the 6th time in a row, we were victorious!  Kick off was ast 7pm, and we made it back home just before midnight.

Sunday we packed B and his father off to the airport to catch their respective flights.  B has finals next week and then he'll be home for a month!  D is out of town for 2 weeks. 

Tuesday was my youngest child's 15th birthday.  *sighs*

Today was the first time I was able to sit down and catch up in quite a while..of course NOW I need to start addressing Christmas/Holiday cards.
